Courageous Lion and Tiny Mouse
Once upon a time, there was a courageous lion and a tiny mouse who lived in the same jungle. They were very different from each other, but they became unlikely friends.
The lion was the king of the jungle. He was strong, brave, and proud. He liked to roam around and protect his territory. He had many admirers, but few true friends.
The mouse was the smallest of all the animals. He was timid, clever, and curious. He liked to explore and learn new things. He had many enemies, but few allies.
One day, the lion and the mouse met by chance. The lion was resting under a tree, and the mouse was looking for food. The mouse saw a piece of cheese on the lion’s paw and decided to take it. He climbed on the lion’s paw and nibbled the cheese.
The lion felt a tickle on his paw and opened his eyes. He saw the mouse and was surprised. He said, “Who are you? And what are you doing on my paw?”
The mouse was startled and said, “I’m sorry, Mr. Lion. I’m just a mouse. I was hungry and I saw some cheese on your paw. Please don’t eat me.”
The lion looked at the mouse and said, “A mouse? You are so small and weak. How can you survive in this jungle? You are no match for me. I can crush you with one paw.”
The mouse said, “Please spare me, Mr. Lion. I know I’m small and weak, but I have some skills. Maybe one day I can help you in return.”
The lion laughed and said, “Help me? How can a mouse help a lion? You are just a joke. But I am feeling generous today, so I will let you go. But don’t ever come near me again.”
The mouse thanked the lion and ran away.
The next day, the lion and the mouse met again. The lion was hunting for his lunch, and the mouse was hiding from a snake. The lion saw a deer and chased it. The mouse saw the snake and ran away.
The lion caught the deer and was about to eat it, when he heard a hiss. He turned around and saw a snake behind him. The snake said, “Hello, Mr. Lion. You have a nice lunch there. But I’m afraid I have to take it from you. You see, I’m hungry too. And you look delicious.”
The lion said, “A snake? You are so slimy and sneaky. How dare you challenge me? You are no match for me. I can tear you apart with one bite.”
The snake said, “Don’t be so sure, Mr. Lion. I know you are strong and brave, but I have some tricks. Maybe you should think twice before you fight me.”
The snake lunged at the lion and bit him on the neck. The lion felt a sharp pain and a burning sensation. He realized that the snake was venomous and that he was in trouble.
The mouse saw the lion and the snake and felt sorry for him. He said, “Oh no, Mr. Lion. You are in danger. The snake is poisonous and he has bitten you. You need help.”
The mouse ran to the lion and said, “Don’t worry, Mr. Lion. I will help you. You spared my life, and now I will repay you.”
The mouse used his sharp teeth and cut the snake’s tail. The snake screamed and let go of the lion. The mouse said, “Quick, Mr. Lion. Run away. The snake is angry and he will come after you.”
The lion ran away with the mouse. The snake cursed and followed them.
The lion and the mouse reached a safe place and rested. The lion said, “Thank you, Mr. Mouse. You have saved my life. You are a true friend. I was wrong to underestimate you. You are small, but you are brave and clever.”
The mouse said, “You are welcome, Mr. Lion. You are a good friend. I was wrong to judge you. You are big, but you are kind and generous.”
The lion and the mouse hugged and smiled. They realized that they had a lot in common and that they could learn from each other.
The lion and the mouse became best friends and had many adventures together. They faced many challenges, but they always helped each other. They proved that friendship is stronger than size and that differences can be overcome. They lived happily ever after in the jungle.
